  1. Provide technical support to customers: Utilize your advanced technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with our scientific instruments for customers.
  2. Perform installations and maintenance: Conduct installations and routine maintenance for complex scientific instruments to ensure their efficient operation and minimize downtime for customers.
  3. Conduct training and demonstrations: Train customers on how to use our instruments and provide demonstrations to showcase their capabilities.
  4. Develop solutions: Use your problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions for customer issues and provide recommendations for improvements to our instruments.
  5. Maintain customer relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and being a reliable point of contact for any technical inquiries.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other teams within the company, such as sales and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience and the continuous improvement of our instruments.
  7. Document service activities: Accurately document all service activities, including troubleshooting steps, repairs, and customer interactions, in a timely and organized manner.
  8. Stay updated on product knowledge: Continuously update your knowledge of our products and their features to effectively support customers and provide them with the most up-to-date information.
  9. Adhere to safety protocols: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure your own safety and the safety of customers while working with complex scientific instruments.
  10. Represent the company: Act as a representative of Thermo Fisher Scientific and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and other stakeholders.
  11. Travel as needed: Be willing to travel to customer sites, sometimes on short notice, to provide on-site support and service for our instruments.
  12. Mentor junior engineers: Share your expertise and knowledge with junior engineers and assist in their development as they grow within the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Relevant Field, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role.

  • Strong Technical Knowledge In Laboratory Equipment, Including Troubleshooting And Repair Skills.

  • Proven Experience In Managing Complex Service Projects And Providing Customer Support.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Strong Relationships With Customers.

  • Willingness To Travel Extensively And Work Independently In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
