  1. Provide technical expertise in XRF and XRD technology to customers.
  2. Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers on the use and application of XRF and XRD instruments.
  3. Develop training materials and resources to support customer learning and understanding of XRF and XRD technology.
  4. Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and technical support requests related to XRF and XRD technology.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for customers, including on-site visits as needed.
  6. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  7. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and developments in XRF and XRD technology and share this knowledge with customers.
  8. Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements and enhancements based on customer feedback and experiences.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  10. Represent the company at conferences, tradeshows, and other industry events to showcase our XRF and XRD technology and expertise.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Xrf And Xrd Instrumentation: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Principles And Operation Of X-Ray Fluorescence (Xrf) And X-Ray Diffraction (Xrd) Instruments. They Should Also Have Hands-On Experience In Installation, Troubleshooting, And Maintenance Of These Instruments.

  • Strong Background In Materials Science And Analysis: As A Field Application And Training Scientist At Thermo Fisher Scientific, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Providing Technical Support And Training To Customers In Various Industries. A Solid Foundation In Materials Science And Analysis Techniques Is Essential For This Role.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Exceptional Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, To Effectively Convey Complex Technical Information To Customers. They Should Also Be Comfortable With Public Speaking And Conducting Training Sessions.

  • Proven Track Record In Customer Support: Thermo Fisher Scientific Values Its Customers And Places A High Emphasis On Providing Excellent Customer Support. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record In Providing Timely And Effective Technical Support To Customers.

  • Ability To Travel Extensively: This Role Involves Frequent Travel To Customer Sites For Instrument Installations, Training, And Support. The Candidate Should Be Willing And Able To Travel Extensively, Both Domestically And Internationally, To Fulfill Their Responsibilities.
