- Collaborate with suppliers to develop and maintain strong partnerships to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Perform regular supplier audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize technical expertise to evaluate and qualify new suppliers and their products.
- Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics and track progress towards improvement goals.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of supplier-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance to identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
- Conduct regular product and process reviews with suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to identify potential areas for improvement and innovation.
- Support the development and implementation of supplier development strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier communication and activities.
- Participate in supplier meetings and negotiations to drive favorable outcomes for the company.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Supplier Development Or Quality Engineering Role.
Strong Understanding Of Supplier Quality Management Systems And Processes.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Cross-Functional Teams And External Suppliers.
Ability To Travel Domestically And Internationally As Needed To Support Supplier Development Activities.
