
Engineer III, Field Service

- Provide expert technical support to customers for Thermo Fisher Scientific equipment.
- Ensure successful installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for complex technical problems.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Utilize strong engineering background to analyze and interpret technical data and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies to continuously improve product knowledge and skills.
- Act as a liaison between customers and Thermo Fisher Scientific to ensure customer needs are met.
- Document all customer interactions and maintain accurate records of service activities.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines while working on customer sites.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior engineers on technical procedures and best practices.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Field Service team.
- Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific in a professional manner at all times and uphold company values and standards.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field
Strong Knowledge Of Scientific Instrumentation And Laboratory Equipment
Excellent Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Field Service Or Related Technical Field
Ability To Travel Extensively And Work Independently In A Fast-Paced Environment
