We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Manufacturing Engineering to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations to ensure the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and extensive experience in manufacturing processes and optimization.   1. Lead and oversee all manufacturing engineering operations within the company.
  2. Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance overall quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  3. Identify and analyze potential areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and develop plans to address them.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of engineering initiatives with overall business goals.
  5. Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  7. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions.
  8. Manage and allocate resources effectively to support the production schedule and meet customer demand.
  9. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  10. Mentor and develop team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing engineering, and make recommendations for implementation.
  12. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  13. Collaborate with other departments, such as R&D and Quality, to support new product development and launch.
  14. Prepare and present progress reports and metrics to senior management.
  15. Uphold the company's values of integrity, innovation, and excellence in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, With A Preference For Candidates With A Master's Degree.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Manufacturing Engineering Within A Highly Regulated Industry, Preferably In The Life Sciences Or Medical Device Sector.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing A Team Of Manufacturing Engineers And Technicians.

  • Strong Knowledge And Experience With Lean Manufacturing Principles And Continuous Improvement Methodologies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate With Upper Management.
