1. Develop and maintain accurate and efficient demand forecasting models and processes for assigned product lines.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and supply chain to collect and analyze data for demand planning.
3. Monitor and analyze market trends, customer behavior, and historical data to make informed demand forecasts.
4. Utilize demand planning software and tools to generate accurate demand forecasts and identify potential risks and opportunities.
5. Proactively communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of demand forecasts and inventory levels.
6. Work closely with suppliers to manage lead times, identify potential supply constraints, and develop contingency plans.
7. Monitor inventory levels and develop strategies to optimize inventory levels while meeting customer demand.
8. Regularly review and analyze demand planning processes and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
9. Prepare and present demand planning reports and metrics to management.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and developments related to demand planning and share knowledge with the team.
11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including compliance with regulatory requirements.
12. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
