Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for an experienced Clinical Systems Testing Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team. This role is an integral part of the Clinical Software Development team, responsible for ensuring the quality of our clinical software systems. This position requires a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with excellent problem-solving skills and experience in clinical software systems. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical systems testing. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about quality, technology and is eager to learn new things, while ensuring the highest quality standards for our software systems. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive testing plans for clinical software systems.
  2. Execute tests to identify performance issues and software defects.
  3. Troubleshoot and debug software systems.
  4. Document test results and write detailed reports.
  5. Work closely with software developers and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.
  6. Maintain knowledge base on existing and new clinical software systems.
  7. Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends in clinical software systems.
  8. Develop and maintain test scripts and automated tests.
  9. Monitor and track software defects and ensure timely resolution.
  10. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
