- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical sites to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Serve as a liaison between pharmaceutical companies and clinical sites to facilitate the successful execution of clinical trials.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project milestones.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in neurology and rare diseases, and apply this knowledge to support the success of clinical trials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop study protocols and ensure their successful implementation.
- Conduct site feasibility assessments and provide recommendations for optimal site selection and recruitment strategies.
- Monitor and track study progress at clinical sites, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Work closely with site staff and investigators to ensure compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Communicate study updates and progress to all stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, clinical sites, and Thermo Fisher Scientific management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency and quality of clinical site management.
- Act as an advocate for patients with rare diseases, ensuring their needs and perspectives are considered in all aspects of the drug development process.
Advanced Knowledge In Neurology And Rare Diseases: A Clinical Site Liaison At Thermo Fisher Scientific Must Possess In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Neurology And Rare Diseases, Including Their Pathophysiology, Diagnosis, And Treatment Options.
Experience In Clinical Research: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Clinical Research, With At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role. This Includes Experience In Managing Clinical Trials, Data Collection And Analysis, And Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Clinical Site Liaison, The Ability To Communicate Effectively With A Variety Of Stakeholders Is Crucial. This Includes Building Relationships With Key Opinion Leaders, Investigators, And Healthcare Professionals, As Well As Effectively Communicating With Internal Teams.
Project Management Skills: The Clinical Site Liaison Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Clinical Trial Sites, Coordinating With Various Teams, And Ensuring Timely And Accurate Data Collection. Strong Project Management Skills, Including Organization, Attention To Detail, And Ability To Manage Timelines, Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Scientific And Technical Knowledge: A Bachelor's Or Advanced Degree In A Scientific Or Healthcare Field Is Preferred For This Position. Additionally, Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Clinical Trial Design And Methodology, As Well As Experience With Relevant Software And Tools Used In Clinical Research.
