  1. Draft and negotiate various types of contracts and agreements for Thermo Fisher Scientific, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  2. Conduct thorough reviews of contracts and agreements, identifying and addressing any potential legal issues or risks.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and teams within the company to understand their specific contract needs and provide legal guidance and support.
  4. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations that may impact the company's contracts and agreements, and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
  5. Maintain organized and accurate records of all contracts and agreements, including any revisions or amendments.
  6. Communicate with external parties, such as clients, vendors, and legal counsel, to negotiate terms and resolve any contract-related issues.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of contract templates and processes to streamline the contract management process.
  8. Conduct legal research and provide recommendations on contract-related matters.
  9. Advise and educate company employees on legal implications and risks associated with various contract terms and language.
  10. Serve as a legal resource and provide guidance to other departments and teams within the company on contract-related matters.
  11. Attend meetings and participate in discussions regarding contract negotiations and other legal matters, providing valuable input and guidance.
  12. Collaborate with the legal team to continuously improve and update contract templates, processes, and policies to ensure legal compliance and efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Active Membership In Good Standing With The State Bar Association.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Contracts Negotiation And Drafting, Preferably In A Corporate Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Contract Law And Ability To Identify Potential Legal Risks And Provide Sound Legal Advice.

  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Negotiate And Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders.
