- Provide technical support: The primary responsibility of a Technical Specialist at The University of New Mexico is to provide technical support to students, faculty, and staff. - Maintain and enhance technology systems: The Technical Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the technology systems used by the university community. Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Engineering.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Technical Support Role, Preferably In A Higher Education Environment.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience With A Variety Of Operating Systems, Software Applications, And Hardware Devices.
Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Group Of Faculty, Staff, And Students.
