  1. Oversee and lead the university's research initiatives and collaborations across all departments and disciplines.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the university's research goals and objectives.
  3. Foster a culture of innovation and promote the advancement of knowledge within the university.
  4. Provide guidance and support to faculty, staff, and students in developing and conducting research projects.
  5. Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to promote research partnerships and funding opportunities.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of research programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Ensure compliance with research regulations and ethical standards.
  8. Manage and allocate resources for research projects and initiatives.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with funding agencies to secure grants and resources for research projects.
  10. Communicate research accomplishments and initiatives to internal and external audiences.
  11. Represent the university at conferences, events, and meetings related to research.
  12. Foster a diverse and inclusive research environment by promoting and supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  13. Mentor and develop junior faculty and staff in their research endeavors.
  14. Collaborate with other university departments and programs to integrate research into the curriculum.
  15. Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in research.

Job Qualifications
  • A Ph.d. Or Terminal Degree In A Relevant Field Of Study.

  • At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Academic Research, Preferably At A University Setting.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Grant Writing And Securing External Funding.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With Experience Managing Research Teams And Budgets.

  • Knowledge Of Current Research Trends And Regulations, As Well As A Commitment To Promoting Diversity And Inclusion In Research Efforts.
