- Administer safe and effective anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Monitor and manage patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to develop an individualized anesthesia plan for each patient.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and techniques in anesthesia to provide the best possible care to patients.
- Educate and train residents, fellows, and medical students on anesthesiology principles and techniques.
- Participate in research projects and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of anesthesiology.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing them with information and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records for each patient.
- Collaborate with other members of the anesthesiology team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Continuously evaluate and improve upon anesthesia techniques and protocols.
- Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees as needed.
- Maintain licensure and certification requirements.

Completion Of An Accredited Residency Program In Anesthesiology.
Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification Or Eligibility For Board Certification In Anesthesiology From The American Board Of Anesthesiology.
Eligibility For A New Mexico Medical License.
Demonstrated Experience And Interest In Teaching, Research, And Clinical Practice In An Academic Setting.
