  1. Provide high-quality dental care to patients in accordance with the University of New Mexico's Dental Medicine Department's standards and protocols.
  2. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in dental medicine and incorporate them into patient care.
  4. Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  5. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the health and well-being of patients and staff.
  8. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  9. Display a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in patient care and interactions with colleagues and students.
  10. Represent the University of New Mexico's Dental Medicine Department in a professional and ethical manner.
  11. Contribute to the advancement and growth of the department through research, publications, and participation in professional organizations.

  13. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment within the department.
  14. Adhere to all university and departmental policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Dental Medicine (Dmd) Or Doctor Of Dental Surgery (Dds) Degree From An Accredited Dental School.

  • Current And Valid State Dental License.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Practicing General Dentistry.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Commitment To Ongoing Professional Development And Staying Up-To-Date With Current Dental Practices And Techniques.
