- Manage and organize collections: The Library Assistant will be responsible for managing and organizing the Center for Southwest Research's collections, which may include rare books, manuscripts, photographs, and other historical materials. - Provide research assistance: The Library Assistant will be responsible for assisting researchers with their information needs by providing guidance on accessing and utilizing the collections. - Uphold library policies and procedures
Bachelor's Degree In Library Science Or Related Field.
Knowledge Of Library Systems And Databases, Particularly Those Used In Academic Libraries.
Strong Customer Service Skills And Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Populations.
Experience With Cataloging And Metadata Standards.
