- Use your extensive knowledge and experience in public management to create a dynamic learning environment for students.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff in the Public Management Center to continuously improve and enhance the program.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and techniques to promote student learning and critical thinking.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and developments in the field of public management to ensure course content is relevant and timely.
- Provide individualized attention and support to students, including advising and career guidance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the Public Management Center and the University of Kansas.
- Represent the University and the Public Management Center in a professional and positive manner to external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
- Participate in program evaluation and assessment activities to ensure continuous improvement.
- Stay informed of and adhere to university policies and procedures related to teaching and student support.
- Attend faculty meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current in best practices and teaching techniques.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop and implement engaging and interactive teaching methods, such as case studies, simulations, and group projects.
Strong Communication And Presentation Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Administration Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Public Management Or Related Field.
Ability To Adapt To Various Teaching Methods And Techniques.
