
TDX IT Analyst

- Maintain and troubleshoot technology systems: The IT Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the technology systems at The University of Kansas, ensuring that they are functioning smoothly and identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Provide technical support: The IT Analyst will be the primary point of contact for faculty, staff, and students who require technical assistance. This includes responding to help desk tickets, providing remote support, and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and implement solutions: The IT Analyst will work closely with other team members to develop and implement solutions and improvements to the technology systems at TDX. This may involve researching new technologies, testing and evaluating them, and making recommendations for implementation.
- Stay updated on technology trends: It is the responsibility of the IT Analyst to stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in technology, particularly in the field of education. - Document processes and procedures: The IT Analyst will be responsible for documenting all processes and procedures related to the technology systems at TDX. This includes creating user guides, knowledge base articles, and other instructional materials to assist users in utilizing the systems effectively.
- Ensure data security and integrity: The IT Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of data stored on the university's technology systems. This includes implementing and maintaining security protocols, performing regular data backups, and monitoring for any potential security breaches.
- Provide training and workshops: The IT Analyst will be responsible for providing training and workshops to faculty, staff, and students on the use of various technology systems. This may include creating and delivering presentations,
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In It Support Or Systems Administration.
Strong Knowledge Of Windows And Mac Operating Systems, As Well As Common Software Applications.
Familiarity With It Service Management Principles And Best Practices, Such As Itil.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment.
