- Lead and oversee the School of Business, ensuring its continued success and growth within the university.
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the School of Business that aligns with the overall goals and mission of the university.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students, faculty, and staff, promoting diversity and equity.
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and staff to ensure high-quality instruction and support for students.
- Collaborate with other departments and schools within the university to develop interdisciplinary programs and initiatives.
- Manage the school's budget and resources effectively, ensuring financial stability and responsible use of funds.
- Engage with alumni, business leaders, and community partners to cultivate relationships and promote the school's programs and initiatives.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments, and incorporate them into curriculum and programming.
- Oversee the accreditation process and maintain the school's standing with relevant accrediting bodies.
- Represent the School of Business and the university at conferences, events, and other external engagements.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Provide guidance and support for students, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Serve as a role model and advocate for the values and mission of the university and the School of Business.
- Continuously assess and improve the school's programs and offerings to meet the needs of students and the business community.
- Collaborate with university administration to support the overall goals and mission of the university.
A Doctoral Degree In A Related Field, Such As Business Administration, Economics, Or Finance.
A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Business School Or Related Academic Department.
A Strong Track Record Of Research And Publication In The Field Of Business, Demonstrating Expertise And Knowledge In Current Trends And Issues.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Faculty, Staff, Students, And External Stakeholders.
Experience In Strategic Planning, Budget Management, And Fundraising, With A Demonstrated Ability To Drive Innovation And Growth Within A Business School Setting.
