  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive residential curriculum that supports the academic and personal growth of students.
  2. Foster a sense of community within the residential complex through programming, events, and intentional interactions.
  3. Collaborate with a diverse team of staff to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.
  4. Provide guidance and support to students, addressing their individual needs and concerns.
  5. Serve as a resource for students, connecting them with campus resources and support services.
  6. Supervise and mentor a team of Resident Assistants, providing ongoing training and support.
  7. Manage complex operations, including budgeting, facilities management, and crisis response.
  8. Promote and uphold University policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful living environment for all students.
  9. Collaborate with other departments and campus partners to enhance the overall student experience.
  10. Stay current on trends and best practices in student affairs and higher education, incorporating them into the residential experience.
  11. Serve as a role model for students, exhibiting professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior.
  12. Serve on departmental and university committees and participate in professional development opportunities.
  13. Maintain accurate records and reports related to complex operations and student interactions.
  14. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the department and across campus.
  16. Represent the University at campus and community events, promoting the residential experience and engaging with stakeholders.
  17. Continuously evaluate and assess the effectiveness of residential programs and services, making necessary adjustments to meet the needs of students.
  18. Adhere to all University policies and procedures, including those related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  19. Support the mission and vision of the University of Kansas and the Department of Student Housing.
  20. Foster a culture of student success and well-being, promoting a positive and supportive living and learning environment.

Job Qualifications
