- Provide exceptional customer service to members of the Ambler Rec Center.
- Assist members in developing and implementing effective workout routines.
- Educate members on proper form and technique for weight room exercises.
- Continuously monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of weight room equipment.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all members.
- Offer guidance and support to members in setting and achieving fitness goals.
- Stay up-to-date on current fitness trends and research.
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and execute fitness events and programs.
- Act as a positive role model for healthy and active living.
- Attend training and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to fitness and health.
- Assist in the promotion and marketing of the weight room and other fitness offerings at the Ambler Rec Center.
- Maintain accurate records of member attendance and equipment maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety and emergency procedures.
- Communicate effectively with members, staff, and management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Knowledge Of Fitness Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Different Types Of Fitness Equipment And How To Properly Use And Maintain Them.
Cpr And First Aid Certification: Due To The Nature Of The Job, Having A Current Cpr And First Aid Certification Is Essential To Ensure The Safety Of All Users In Case Of Emergencies.
Customer Service Skills: As A Weight Room Specialist, The Candidate Will Be Interacting With A Diverse Group Of Individuals, And Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Necessary To Provide A Positive And Welcoming Environment.
Physical Fitness: The Candidate Should Have A Good Level Of Physical Fitness To Demonstrate Exercises And Assist Users With Proper Form And Techniques.
