- Oversee and manage the financial operations of the university, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports to provide accurate and timely information to university leadership.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure proper allocation and utilization of funds.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard university assets and prevent fraud.
- Review and reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, promoting a culture of excellence and integrity.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and submit tax filings and other financial documents to relevant authorities.
- Conduct audits and assist with external audits as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in financial processes.
- Communicate effectively with university leadership and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of work.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in accounting and financial management.

Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Accounting Or Financial Management.
Cpa Certification Or Equivalent Preferred.
Strong Working Knowledge Of Financial Systems And Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Present Complex Financial Data.
