Responsibilities: • Welcome visitors and patients in the pre and post-operative areas in a professional and courteous manner. • Ensure the waiting room area is kept clean and sanitary. • Offer assistance to visitors and patients in a timely and efficient manner. • Provide information regarding the services offered at the hospital. • Answer questions or direct visitors and patients to the appropriate resources. • Assist with scheduling appointments and registering new patients. • Ensure all patient records are kept confidential and secure. • Follow hospital procedures for patient safety. • Monitor the waiting room area for any potential safety hazards. • Assist in the implementation of any new policies or procedures. • Report any incidents or issues to the appropriate personnel. • Perform other duties as assigned.
