Job Description

The University of Kansas Health System is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a demonstrated background in recruiting, a commitment to customer service, and a strong understanding of the healthcare industry. A successful Talent Acquisition Consultant will be able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and will be able to develop talent strategies that align with the mission of the organization. The ideal candidate for this role should have a passion for finding top talent to join our team, and should have the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the Talent Acquisition team.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field• Five to seven years of experience in a Talent Acquisition role• Knowledge of employment regulations and compliance requirements• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment• Proven track record of success in recruiting and developing talent• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems, such as Taleo or Workday

Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Consultant:

  1. Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  2. Utilize applicant tracking systems, such as Taleo or Workday, to manage candidate applications.
  3. Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful talent acquisition.
  4. Screen candidate resumes, conduct interviews, and provide recommendations on hiring decisions.
  5. Ensure compliance with employment regulations and other applicable laws.
  6. Create job postings and other recruitment materials.
  7. Maintain a database of qualified candidates and contact them for potential job opportunities.
  8. Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
  9. Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
