Job Description

The University of Kansas Health System is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Representative- PRN to join our team and help ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our supply chain. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for providing excellent customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the distribution of medical supplies and equipment. If you are a motivated individual with a commitment to providing outstanding performance and service, we want to hear from you! To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred• A minimum of two years of experience in Supply Chain Management• Experience with inventory control and supply chain operations• Strong communication and problem-solving skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities for Supply Chain Representative- PRN:

• Monitor, update, and maintain the inventory of medical supplies and equipment to ensure accurate supply chain operations • Process orders for medical supplies and equipment to ensure timely delivery to customers • Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and cost savings • Maintain and update records of supply chain operations and transactions • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management and supply chain operations • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medical supplies and equipment • Assist with the development of policies and procedures for supply chain operations • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to supply chain operations • Work with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations • Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate information and data is available for decision-making • Utilize supply chain management software to maintain inventory levels and track orders
