Social Work Case Manager - Inpatient

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Social Work Case Manager to join our Inpatient team at The University of Kansas Health System. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive social work services to patients and families in a hospital setting. You will be accountable for helping patients and families navigate the healthcare system, and providing the necessary psychosocial and emotional support needed to ensure a successful healthcare experience.To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW), be licensed as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Kansas, and have a minimum of three years of experience in social work case management. You must be able to work effectively in a team environment, possess excellent communication and clinical documentation skills, and demonstrate an ability to maintain objectivity in challenging situations.
