Job Description

Our The University of Kansas Health System is looking for an experienced, compassionate PRN Clinical Dietitian to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a PRN Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition-related assessments, counseling, and care plans for both inpatients and outpatients. If you have a passion for helping others and a strong background in nutrition science, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.We are looking for a PRN Clinical Dietitian who has a Master's degree in Nutrition Science and is registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. In addition to strong communication and interpersonal skills, you should also have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be a team-player with a positive attitude, a commitment to excellence, and dedication to providing the highest quality care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess patients’ nutritional needs and develop individualized nutrition care plans
  2. Provide nutrition counseling and education to inpatients and outpatients
  3. Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition care plans accordingly
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  5. Document patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  6. Maintain knowledge of current nutrition trends and best practices
  7. Remain current on new research in nutrition science
  8. Assist with other nutrition-related tasks as needed
  9. Uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct
