The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an experienced, organized, and service-oriented PRN Breast Imaging Secretary to join our team. This position will require excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills to ensure smooth operations of our Breast Imaging department. If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and have the required qualifications, we invite you to apply today!The ideal candidate for this position will possess a professional attitude and strong customer service skills, in addition to the following required qualifications:- At least one year of experience in healthcare or a related field- Experience with breast imaging practices and procedures- A high school diploma or its equivalent- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain effective and professional communication with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers.
  2. Ensure compliance with all breast imaging practices and procedures.
  3. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  4. Manage patient records and schedules accurately.
  5. Use Microsoft Office Suite to create documents and reports.
  6. Provide excellent customer service to patients.
  7. Respond to patient inquiries and schedule appointments.
  8. Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
  9. Assist in the training of new staff members.
  10. Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
