Job Description

The University of Kansas Health System is looking for an experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team in an on-call/as-needed basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a top-notch team of professionals and to contribute to our mission of providing high-quality care in a patient-centered environment. We are looking for a passionate individual who is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and athletes.The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in Athletic Training and be certified or eligible for certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC). In addition, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in developing and evaluating rehabilitative plans, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are vital to this position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional care to patients and athletes in an on-call/as-needed basis.
  2. Develop and evaluate rehabilitative plans for patients and athletes.
  3. Maintain certification or eligibility for certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
  4. Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
  5. Maintain a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  6. Uphold the mission of the University of Kansas Health System.
  7. Participate in continuing education activities to stay current in the field.
  8. Abide by all safety regulations and policies.
  9. Maintain accurate records of patient care.
