
Physician - Orthopedic
The University of Kansas Health System is searching for an experienced, motivated Physician - Orthopedic to join our team. This is an opportunity to join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and make a difference in the lives of our patients. This position requires a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution, current certification in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS), and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Orthopedic Surgery.We’re looking for someone who is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to our patients and who is committed to creating a positive environment for our team. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality care to patients with orthopedic issues.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative environment for the medical team.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Perform comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients with orthopedic issues.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients according to established protocols.
- Monitor patients’ progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients on preventative measures and self-care techniques.
- Stay informed of current trends and best practices in the field of orthopedic surgery.
- Document patient care interactions and outcomes.
- Comply with all applicable professional standards and guidelines.

Licensed To Practice Medicine In The State Of Kansas
Board Certified In Orthopedic Surgery
Completion Of An Accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program
