Job Description

The University of Kansas Health System is searching for an experienced, motivated Physician - Orthopedic to join our team. This is an opportunity to join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and make a difference in the lives of our patients. This position requires a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution, current certification in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS), and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Orthopedic Surgery.We’re looking for someone who is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to our patients and who is committed to creating a positive environment for our team. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Above all, we’re seeking someone who is driven to make a lasting difference in the lives of our patients. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high quality care to patients with orthopedic issues.
  2. Maintain a positive and collaborative environment for the medical team.
  3. Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  4. Perform comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients with orthopedic issues.
  5. Develop and implement treatment plans for patients according to established protocols.
  6. Monitor patients’ progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  7. Educate patients on preventative measures and self-care techniques.
  8. Stay informed of current trends and best practices in the field of orthopedic surgery.
  9. Document patient care interactions and outcomes.
  10. Comply with all applicable professional standards and guidelines.
