Job Description

The University of Kansas Health System is looking for a passionate and organized Patient Service Representative Scheduler to join our team. We are searching for a talented individual who can provide excellent care to our patients and help them navigate the scheduling process. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing care with a personal touch.The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of customer service experience. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. The successful candidate must have a friendly and professional demeanor, as well as the ability to handle a high volume of calls and inquiries in a timely manner. The ideal candidate should possess a customer service-oriented attitude, have strong multitasking skills, and be comfortable using a computer and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the scheduling process for patients, including scheduling appointments, confirming appointments, and rescheduling as needed

• Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering inquiries and providing helpful information

• Handle a high volume of calls and inquiries in a timely manner

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information in the scheduling system

• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing patient complaints in a timely manner

• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with patients

• Utilize strong problem-solving and organizational skills to troubleshoot scheduling issues

• Utilize Microsoft Office applications to create and maintain patient records

• Assist with other clerical duties as needed
