The University of Kansas Health System is looking for an outgoing and communicative Patient Service Representative to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in our hospital and clinic settings. If you have an empathetic attitude and a passion for providing compassionate care to our patients, we want to hear from you!To be considered for this role, you should have at least two years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting, along with excellent computer and communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Answer incoming calls and inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
  3. Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records.
  4. Monitor patient check-in and check-out processes.
  5. Maintain and update patient information in electronic medical records (EMR).
  6. Assist patients in completing forms and paperwork.
  7. Resolve patient inquiries and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  8. Ensure compliance with hospital and clinic policies and procedures.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure patient care is delivered in an effective and efficient manner.
  10. Assist in the training of new staff members.
