Job Description

The University of Kansas Health System is looking for a Patient Service Representative to join our team. This role requires excellent customer service and communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and a commitment to providing our patients with outstanding care. The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering excellent customer service, be detail-oriented and well-organized, and have a positive and friendly attitude. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide outstanding customer service to patients in accordance with the University of Kansas Health System's policies and procedures.
  2. Greet patients warmly and provide assistance with scheduling, registration, and other paperwork.
  3. Respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information in the system.
  5. Monitor patient wait times and take appropriate action to provide a positive customer experience.
  6. Assist with answering phones, filing, and other administrative duties as needed.
  7. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe and secure environment for patients.
  9. Participate in continuing education and training to remain up-to-date on the latest regulations and procedures.
