Job Description

The University of Kansas Health System is looking for a Nursing Associate to join our team and provide exceptional nursing care to patients. Responsibilities:

  1. Administer nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with established standards and policies of the University of Kansas Health System.
  2. Monitor and assess patient needs and condition, and report to the nursing team.
  3. Utilize critical thinking and problem solving skills to develop care plans for patients.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  5. Demonstrate professional and compassionate nursing care to patients of diverse backgrounds.
  6. Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide the best possible care.
  7. Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  8. Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations related to nursing practice.
  9. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities as required.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
