
Medical-Surgical Clinical Pharmacist

Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients in the medical-surgical/inpatient setting.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure that the safety of patients is the top priority.
- Monitor patient progress, assess medication safety, and adjust medications accordingly.
- Manage the medication formulary and ensure that medications are appropriate and cost-effective.
- Provide education to patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and other committees related to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Stay current with developments in the field and provide patient-centered care.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Doctor Of Pharmacy Degree
Board Certification In Pharmacotherapy
Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience In Medical-Surgical Clinical Pharmacy Practice
Current Kansas Licensure Or Eligible For Licensure
Knowledge Of Current Medical-Surgical And Pharmacotherapy Practice
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Healthcare Team Members
Demonstrated Commitment To Promoting Patient Safety And Quality Improvement.
