Job Description

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented Mammography Tech to join our team of dedicated professionals. We are looking for an individual with the knowledge and experience necessary to provide excellent patient care while performing high-quality mammography services. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills and have an attention to detail in order to provide high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.The Mammography Tech will perform mammography examinations in accordance with the American College of Radiology guidelines. The successful candidate must possess a current certification in mammography and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform mammography examinations in accordance with the American College of Radiology guidelines.
  2. Provide excellent patient care while performing high-quality mammography services.
  3. Possess a current certification in mammography and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  4. Possess a current state license in the state of Kansas.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Ensure the accuracy of images taken for diagnosis and treatment.
  7. Provide quality patient care and support.
  8. Maintain equipment and ensure that it is in good working order.
  9. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
  10. Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
