
Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist
The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an experienced Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. We are searching for an individual who is passionate about medication management and patient care, and has the skills to perform effectively in this role. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional who is able to provide exceptional clinical pharmacy services to our inpatient population.The ideal Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist should possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college/university and be licensed by the Kansas Board of Pharmacy. The individual should have at least three years of clinical pharmacy experience in an acute care setting, as well as knowledge of standard pharmacy practices, state and federal regulations, and aseptic technique. We are looking for a team player who is able to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare personnel.The Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist must have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work independently. The successful candidate will have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently. The individual should have an understanding of healthcare information systems and demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care.
