
Ambulatory Operations and Informatics Manager
The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an experienced and motivated Ambulatory Operations and Informatics Manager to join our team. The Ambulatory Operations and Informatics Manager will be responsible for providing operational and IT support for our ambulatory clinics and for developing and implementing strategies to optimize our patient care processes. We are looking for an individual with a strong combination of technical and communication skills, as well as a passion for helping to improve the quality of our patient care.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an ambulatory operations and/or informatics role, and a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. In addition, the successful candidate must have knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of healthcare delivery, including electronic health records and medical coding; strong organizational and problem-solving skills; and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Ambulatory Operations and Informatics Manager will also have the opportunity to develop and implement initiatives to improve the efficiency of our clinics and the quality of patient care. Responsibilities:
- Provide operational and IT support to ambulatory clinics.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize patient care processes.
- Utilize knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of healthcare delivery, including electronic health records and medical coding.
- Exhibit strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Work independently as well as part of a team.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve the efficiency of clinics and the quality of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of ambulatory clinics.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders.
- Manage budget and resources.
