Design and implement network infrastructure to support the company's global operations.
Ensure the reliability and security of the network by monitoring and maintaining network performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for network optimization and efficiency.
Develop and maintain network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
Stay updated on the latest network technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their implementation in the company's network.
Conduct regular network audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior network engineers and other team members.
Participate in the planning and execution of network-related projects, such as network upgrades and expansions.
Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure the availability of the network in case of an emergency.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to manage and maintain network equipment and services.
Act as a subject matter expert for network-related inquiries and provide training and support to other departments as needed.
Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to continuously improve network operations.
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Network Engineering Experience: A Senior Network Engineer At The Trade Desk Should Possess A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Network Engineering With A Strong Focus On Netops. This Experience Should Include Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Complex Networks In A High-Traffic Environment.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Netops Tools And Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Netops Tools And Technologies, Such As Automation, Orchestration, And Configuration Management Tools. They Should Also Have Experience With Network Virtualization And Cloud Computing Platforms.
Strong Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills: A Senior Network Engineer Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills To Address Any Network-Related Issues That May Arise. They Should Be Able To Quickly Identify And Resolve Network Problems To Ensure Minimal Disruption To Business Operations.
Team Management And Leadership Experience: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading A Team Of Network Engineers And Managing Complex Projects. They Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Delegate Tasks To Team Members.
Certifications And Education: A Senior Network Engineer Should Have A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field. In Addition, They Should Have Relevant Certifications Such As Ccnp, Ccie, Or Jncie, Demonstrating Their Expertise In Networking Technologies.
