Design and implement complex data solutions to support the needs of our rapidly growing digital advertising platform.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into scalable database designs.
Collaborate with software engineers to develop efficient and optimized database queries and procedures.
Monitor and troubleshoot database performance and proactively identify and address any issues.
Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to our data infrastructure to increase efficiency and performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends and make recommendations for their implementation.
Develop and maintain data quality and security standards to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our data.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the database engineering team.
Lead projects and initiatives related to database architecture, performance, and scalability.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate data systems and ensure seamless data flow.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Identify and implement automation and scripting solutions to streamline database processes.
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide updates and recommendations on database-related projects.
Participate in on-call support and incident resolution as needed.
