Monitor and analyze security event logs to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and address any security gaps or weaknesses.
Implement and maintain security technologies and tools to protect the company's infrastructure and data.
Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations to determine the root cause and implement appropriate remediation measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and developments to continuously improve the company's security posture.
Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Train and educate employees on security awareness and best practices to ensure a culture of security within the company.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the company's ability to respond to and recover from security incidents.
Proactively identify and address potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions to mitigate them.
Work closely with third-party vendors to evaluate and ensure the security of their products and services.
Document and maintain security incident reports and provide regular updates to management on the company's security posture.
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Continuously assess and improve the company's security processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of security.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Knowledge Of Network Security: A Strong Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Network Security Protocols, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, And Other Tools Used To Protect Against Cyber Threats.
Experience With Incident Response: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Handling Security Incidents, Conducting Investigations, And Implementing Remediation Measures To Prevent Future Incidents.
Knowledge Of Cloud Security: As The Trade Desk Operates In A Cloud-Based Environment, The Security Operations Engineer Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Cloud Security Best Practices And Be Able To Implement Them Effectively.
Familiarity With Security Monitoring Tools: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Security Monitoring Tools Such As Siem, Ids/Ips, And Vulnerability Scanners To Detect And Respond To Security Events.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Part Of The Security Team, The Security Operations Engineer Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Other Team Members And Stakeholders, Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, And Provide Timely Updates On Security Incidents And Remediation Efforts.
