Job Description

The Trade Desk is looking for an experienced Principal UX Designer who can lead the UX design team and create innovative customer experiences that are built on exceptional design principles. As the Principal UX Designer, you will be responsible for driving the strategic UX vision for The Trade Desk, while inspiring a team of UX Designers to create exceptional customer experiences. You will be the face of the UX team, collaborating with product and engineering partners to ensure that The Trade Desk’s UX design products are intuitive and user-friendly.We’re looking for a creative problem-solver with a passion for design and a deep understanding of the UX process. To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in UX Design, with expertise in UX strategy, user research, and user experience design. You must also have a proven track record in user interface design, usability testing, and user experience optimization.The ideal candidate will also be a strong communicator who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a leader who can mentor and inspire their team. Responsibilities: -Develop and implement a strategic UX vision for The Trade Desk -Lead and mentor a team of UX Designers -Collaborate with product and engineering partners to ensure that The Trade Desk’s UX design products are intuitive and user-friendly -Develop user interfaces that are visually appealing and easy to use -Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure user satisfaction -Optimize user experience for maximum efficiency and engagement -Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams -Stay up to date on the latest UX trends and best practices
