The Trade Desk is seeking a Lead Senior Software Engineer for our Service Fabric team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge Service Fabric platform.   1. Lead a team of software engineers in developing and maintaining our Service Fabric platform.
  2. Mentor and guide team members in their technical and career growth.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions.
  4. Take ownership of the technical direction and architecture of the Service Fabric platform.
  5. Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code is delivered on time.
  6. Continuously monitor and improve the performance and stability of the Service Fabric platform.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Service Fabric technology.
  8. Resolve technical challenges and provide guidance to team members on problem-solving.
  9. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and standards.
  10. Communicate and coordinate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  11. Lead by example and foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  12. Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  13. Act as a technical point of contact and liaison for the Service Fabric team with other teams and departments.
  14. Identify and implement process improvements to increase team efficiency and productivity.
  15. Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience With Microsoft Service Fabric: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Microsoft Service Fabric And Be Able To Design, Develop And Maintain Large-Scale, Highly Available Systems On This Platform.

  • Strong Background In Software Engineering: The Lead Senior Software Engineer Should Have A Strong Background In Software Engineering Principles And Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As C#, Java Or Python. They Should Also Have Experience With Agile Development Methodologies.

  • Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Mentoring A Team Of Software Engineers, Providing Technical Guidance And Driving The Team Towards Successful Project Delivery.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Distributed Systems: As Service Fabric Is A Distributed Systems Platform, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Distributed Systems Concepts And Experience In Building And Maintaining Highly Available And Scalable Systems.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues And Provide Innovative Solutions. They Should Also Have A Keen Eye For Identifying Potential Problems And Proactively Addressing Them To Ensure System Stability And Performance.
