
Editorial Director, The Resource Desk
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Editorial Director to join our team at The Trade Desk as the leader of our Resource Desk. As the Editorial Director, you will play a vital role in shaping the voice and content of our company, helping to establish us as a thought leader in the advertising industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editorial strategy and management, a deep understanding of digital advertising, and a keen eye for impactful storytelling. - Develop and implement editorial strategy for The Trade Desk's Resource Desk, in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage the editorial team, including writers, editors, and content creators, to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to align editorial content with overall company messaging and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and incorporate them into the editorial strategy and content creation.
- Oversee the production of a variety of content types, including articles, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and more.
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and adheres to the company's brand and tone.
- Drive thought leadership by identifying and pursuing opportunities for The Trade Desk to contribute to industry discussions and conferences.
- Analyze content performance and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve and optimize the editorial strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and influencers to amplify the reach and impact of the Resource Desk's content.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and growth.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In English, Journalism, Communication, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Editorial Roles, Preferably In A Digital Advertising Or Technology Company.
Strong Writing And Editing Skills With A Keen Eye For Detail And Accuracy.
Proven Experience Managing And Leading A Team Of Writers Or Editors.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Digital Advertising Landscape, Including Industry Trends, Best Practices, And Emerging Technologies.
