At The Trade Desk, we are looking for a talented Data Scientist with expertise in Distributed Algorithms to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. You will have a passion for data-driven problem solving and work alongside our engineers to design, develop and optimize distributed algorithms. We are seeking a motivated individual who is eager to learn and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this role, you must have a strong technical background, ideally with a degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field. You will have experience in building and optimizing distributed algorithms, strong programming skills and an excellent understanding of databases. You will also be knowledgeable in data mining and predictive analytics. Responsibilities:

Design, develop and optimize distributed algorithms for complex data-driven problems.
Develop and maintain code to support data-driven tasks.
Utilize knowledge in data mining and predictive analytics to solve real-world problems.
Manage databases and apply data-driven principles to ensure data accuracy.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure data-driven solutions are optimized.
Stay up-to-date with new data processing technologies and techniques.
Troubleshoot data-driven problems and provide creative solutions.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
Prepare regular reports on data-driven projects.
Maintain strict data security and compliance standards.
