We are seeking an experienced and driven Associate General Counsel to join our Legal team and oversee our product and privacy matters. As the Associate General Counsel, you will play a critical role in advising our product development and privacy compliance efforts, ensuring that we maintain our high standards of legal and ethical practices.   1. Provide legal guidance and support to the product development team, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Monitor and advise on changes in privacy laws and regulations to ensure the company's products and practices remain compliant.
  3. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to product development and privacy matters.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the company's data privacy practices are in line with industry standards.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential legal risks related to product development and privacy.
  6. Advise on intellectual property matters and assist with trademark and copyright registrations and enforcement.
  7. Conduct legal research and stay updated on industry developments to provide proactive legal counsel.
  8. Assist with managing and resolving any legal disputes related to product development and privacy.
  9. Train and educate employees on legal and compliance matters related to product development and privacy.
  10. Collaborate with external legal counsel and manage relationships with outside vendors and partners.
  11. Work closely with the General Counsel and other members of the legal team to ensure consistent and effective legal advice and support.
  12. Stay informed on the company's business objectives and provide legal advice in alignment with these goals.
  13. Maintain and update internal legal policies and procedures related to product development and privacy.
  14. Handle any other legal matters as assigned by the General Counsel.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, With A Focus On Privacy And Product-Related Legal Issues

  • Strong Knowledge Of Privacy Laws And Regulations, Including Gdpr And Ccpa

  • Experience Drafting And Negotiating Commercial Agreements, Particularly In The Technology Industry

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Provide Legal Guidance To Non-Legal Stakeholders.
