  1. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to inventory and data practices.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures related to inventory and data.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential legal and regulatory risks.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in laws and regulations related to inventory and data.
  5. Advise and assist internal stakeholders on legal matters related to inventory and data.
  6. Review and negotiate contracts and agreements related to inventory and data, including with third-party vendors.
  7. Conduct legal research and provide guidance on complex legal issues related to inventory and data.
  8. Ensure data privacy and security measures are in place and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Develop and deliver training programs on legal and compliance matters related to inventory and data.
  10. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to inventory and data as needed.
  11. Monitor and report on legal and regulatory developments that may impact the company's inventory and data practices.
  12. Assist with any other legal matters as assigned by the General Counsel.

Job Qualifications

  • Law Degree From An Accredited Institution: A Successful Candidate For The Associate General Counsel, Inventory & Data Position At The Trade Desk Should Possess A Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From A Reputable Law School. This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In Legal Principles And Knowledge Of The Legal System.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Corporate Or Commercial Law: The Trade Desk Requires A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Corporate Or Commercial Law For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Thorough Understanding Of The Legal Framework In Which The Company Operates And Is Able To Handle Complex Legal Issues Related To Inventory And Data.

  • Strong Understanding Of Inventory And Data Management: The Associate General Counsel, Inventory & Data Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Inventory And Data Management In The Advertising Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Data Privacy Laws, Data Security, And Inventory Management Practices.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: As A Key Member Of The Legal Team, The Associate General Counsel, Inventory & Data Will Be Responsible For Negotiating Contracts And Agreements Related To Inventory And Data. Effective Communication And Negotiation Skills Are Essential For Building Relationships With Clients And Vendors.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment: The Trade Desk Is A Rapidly Growing Company In A Fast-Paced Industry. The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Be Able To Thrive In A Dynamic And Constantly Evolving Environment, And Be Able To Adapt To Changing Priorities And Deadlines. Flexibility And The Ability To Handle A High Volume Of Work Is Crucial For Success In This Role.
