- Teach courses in the medical dietetics, health, and rehabilitation sciences curriculum.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage and educate students.
- Conduct research in the field of medical dietetics and contribute to the body of knowledge in the field.
- Mentor and advise students to support their academic and professional development.
- Participate in departmental and university committees and meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and revise curriculum to meet the needs of students and the field.
- Engage in service activities, such as serving on professional boards and organizations, to advance the mission of the department and university.
- Maintain an active and productive research agenda, including securing external funding.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of continuing education programs related to medical dietetics, health, and rehabilitation.
- Engage in professional development and stay current with advancements in the field of medical dietetics.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
- Serve as a role model for students and uphold the values and standards of the department and university.
Doctoral Degree In Medical Dietetics, Health And Rehabilitation Sciences Or A Related Field, Such As Nutrition Or Public Health.
Demonstrated Excellence In Teaching And Curriculum Development In A Higher Education Setting, With A Focus On Medical Dietetics And Health.
Strong Record Of Scholarly Research And Publications, Including A History Of Securing External Funding.
Current Licensure Or Eligibility For Licensure As A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) In The State Of Ohio.
Experience Working With Diverse Populations And A Commitment To Promoting Inclusivity And Cultural Competency In The Classroom And Research.
