Welcome to The Ohio State University's Department of Medical Dietetics, Health and Rehabilitation Sciences! We are currently seeking a Tenure-Track Faculty member to join our dynamic and dedicated team. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals through teaching, research, and service.   1. Teach courses in the medical dietetics, health, and rehabilitation sciences curriculum.
  2. Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage and educate students.
  3. Conduct research in the field of medical dietetics and contribute to the body of knowledge in the field.
  4. Mentor and advise students to support their academic and professional development.
  5. Participate in departmental and university committees and meetings.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and revise curriculum to meet the needs of students and the field.
  7. Engage in service activities, such as serving on professional boards and organizations, to advance the mission of the department and university.
  8. Maintain an active and productive research agenda, including securing external funding.
  9. Contribute to the development and delivery of continuing education programs related to medical dietetics, health, and rehabilitation.
  10. Engage in professional development and stay current with advancements in the field of medical dietetics.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
  12. Serve as a role model for students and uphold the values and standards of the department and university.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Medical Dietetics, Health And Rehabilitation Sciences Or A Related Field, Such As Nutrition Or Public Health.

  • Demonstrated Excellence In Teaching And Curriculum Development In A Higher Education Setting, With A Focus On Medical Dietetics And Health.

  • Strong Record Of Scholarly Research And Publications, Including A History Of Securing External Funding.

  • Current Licensure Or Eligibility For Licensure As A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) In The State Of Ohio.

  • Experience Working With Diverse Populations And A Commitment To Promoting Inclusivity And Cultural Competency In The Classroom And Research.
