Staff Supervisor

Manages the coordination of the transportation services to and from the nursing units and the diagnostic testing/procedure sites. Coordinates department activities with associated functions including Transfer Center, Stat Nurse Team and Environmental Services to ensure efficient patient flow management. Troubleshoots and resolves issues with transport requests and/or staff; notifies department leaders of operational and/or staff-related issues as needed. May dispatch transporters to patient care or ancillary areas. Transports patients as needed in emergent cases.
