- Provide skilled and compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement holistic care plans for patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and ensure accurate documentation of all interventions.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and address potential complications and emergency situations.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, following infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.

- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are met.

- Represent the Ohio State University Medical Center and the MICU in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Current Ohio Registered Nurse License.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Medical Intensive Care Unit.
Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls).
Strong Critical Thinking And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
