Bachelor's Degree In Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Laboratory Animal Technician (Lat) Or Willingness To Obtain Certification Within 6 Months Of Hire.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Laboratory Animals, Preferably In A Research Setting.
Knowledge Of Animal Husbandry, Health Monitoring, And Handling Techniques For A Variety Of Laboratory Animal Species.
Familiarity With Federal Regulations And Guidelines For The Ethical And Humane Care Of Laboratory Animals.
