- Provide exceptional, high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and standards.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and make necessary adjustments to care plans.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For A Registered Nurse Position In The Emergency Department At The Ohio State University. This Degree Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory And Clinical Practice.
Rn License In The State Of Ohio: All Applicants Must Have A Current And Active Registered Nurse License In The State Of Ohio. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The State's Requirements For Education And Competency To Practice As A Nurse.
Bls And Acls Certification: The Candidate Must Hold Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications. These Certifications Indicate That The Candidate Is Trained In Emergency Resuscitation Techniques And Can Provide Immediate Care In Life-Threatening Situations.
Previous Experience In An Emergency Department: The Ideal Candidate Will Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Registered Nurse In An Emergency Department. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Handle High-Stress Situations, Prioritize Patient Care, And Work Effectively As Part Of A Team.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. They Must Also Have Strong Critical Thinking Skills To Quickly Assess And Prioritize Patient Needs In Emergency Situations.
